Welcome. This is a guide to help you use this application. Take your time.
Your bank can send you a statement as a PDF file. That file shows money that came in and money that went out. This website reads that PDF and shows the list in a clear table. You can also download the list as a CSV file for Excel or Google Sheets.
1
Enter your email
On the first page, type your email address. We use it only to remember your choice, like the last bank you opened. We do not use it to keep your bank statement.
2
Choose your bank
Tap or click the name of your bank. Please choose the same bank that is on your PDF. If you choose the wrong bank, the reading may fail.
3
Upload your PDF
On the bank page, drop your PDF into the box, or click the box to find the file on your phone or computer. The file must be a PDF and not larger than 5 MB. Wait for the progress bar. When it reaches 100 percent, your table will appear.
4
If the PDF asks for a password
Some bank files are locked. Type the password your bank gave you. Then tap Unlock and parse. If the password is wrong, try again carefully.
5
Read and download
Check the table. If it looks correct, tap Download CSV to save the list. You can also open Analyse to group transactions, and Coverage to see totals.
6
If something looks wrong
Scroll down and tap Report a bad parse. Write a short note about what is wrong. This helps us fix the bank reading for other people.
Your bank statement is private. We treat it with care.
1. Your PDF stays on this server only while the website is reading it.
2. When reading finishes well, we delete the PDF from the server.
3. We do not save your PDF inside the database.
4. Your email is only for small preferences, such as the last bank you used. We do not attach your statement file to your email.
5. If you send a report about a problem, we save your note and some details (bank name, file name, counts). We still do not save the PDF with that report.
Please do not share your bank password with anyone who asks for it by message. Only type a PDF password on this website when your own file asks for it.
If you feel stuck, stop and rest. Come back later. Or send a message to us at hello@stacklgacy.com.
